ClaraVita was inspired by a love that shaped everything I believe about care.
My grandmother, Clara, was the heart of our family—gentle, selfless, and full of warmth. She was a devoted homemaker who found her greatest joy in caring for others. Whether it was through Sunday dinners, a comforting word, or simply opening her home to anyone in need, she made everyone feel seen, loved, and like they belonged.
She didn't just care for family—she showed me what it truly means to care for people, especially those who had no one.
Clara was also incredibly independent. She took pride in doing things her way, in her home, and on her own terms. So when we began to notice changes and realized she needed extra help, it wasn't easy. We were faced with crucial, emotional conversations—ones no family is ever truly prepared for.
As she began her journey with Alzheimer's, everything became more complex. Navigating care options, understanding what was best, and finding the right support felt overwhelming at times. It wasn't just about making decisions—it was about making the right decisions for someone we loved so deeply, while honoring who she was.
That experience changed me. It showed me how much families need guidance—not just information, but someone who truly understands what they're going through.
Because of her, I learned that care should never feel clinical or rushed—it should feel like home.
